Identifying your face, voice commands or Huawei's monitoring your phone usage to adjust its performance. Running them on the device save power and network traffic.

    Unbelievable bollocks and marketing gimmicks, NPU in a phone as good as having 1.4 litre engine in a Ferrari. All serious "neuron" calculations can only be done on powerful servers. Just complete gimmick, nothing to see, move on

An NPU and a CPU is way different in efficiency, as well as a VPU, which is mostly for image and video related calculations. Apple announced that their API would be limited to image processing, though. Software API support is another crucial difference. Kirin chips and Snapdragon are open to Tensorflow, Tensorflow Lite, Caffe, Caffe2 for example.

            I'm gonna skip the S9 and go for Galaxy X or S10...
            Samsung is gonna make next major breaktrough :)

I have the note 8, but you don't see my name as Samsung superfan69. Last phone I had was Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro. V30 is available offline here in malls in 3rd world india but expensive af like Note 8 but no carrier plan available unlike Note 8.

There's no OnePlus5T sold offline in this 3rd world country either. What? You think I don't know OP 5T and Pixel 2 XL are better? I know my stuff. But I'm not rich and that makes me not trust online purchase overseas. I'm not biased and unlike you, not a fanboy either. I bet you don't even own a flagship LG (V30) smartphone.

                                Well then I guess you do agree with me, for a fact that you couldn't help but agree with what I have said (you can't think of any proper response anyway).

                                The truth is that Samsung won't be a highly established brand if Sony wasn't their friend that would help them in their worst times. Just call me back after Samsung stops crying to Sony for begging their world class quality hardwares like camera sensors and batteries.
                                Heck, their "The Wall" display technology was also developed by the same concept Sony showed last year.

                                    No matter how Samsung will try i dont think they beat Apple next level i mean succesor of A1 bionic. And anyway for what good apart it cost much more is good this new CPU?
                                    There is no game or other aopp tech etc which could find usefull this kind of CPU.
                                    For example Snapdragon 820 is old and cheap by now but its still fast and smooth enough to run anything without even a tiny laggs.
