Netlat, 06 Feb 2018wow I was just thinking about this, and searched and found ... moreNo way tempered glass reduces camera quality significantly, can't be true, you must be smoking something :D I was watching video where some dude was testing rear camera tempered glass lens protector, neither him or me could tell a difference of quality with or without the protector.

Netlat, 06 Feb 2018wow I was just thinking about this, and searched and found ... moreYou wont need tempered glass as the new displays are expected to be unbreakable. They are flexible enough to not shatter on impact but absorb the shocks.

wow I was just thinking about this, and searched and found it. I guess this is a good idea, but there are few down sides. with the camera placed behind the screen we won't be able to use temperared glasses anymore as it reduces quality of the selfies. If the screen is damaged, the camera might have to be replaced as well, and it costs more, when you keep touching the phone its screen gets smudged, and thus it affects to the selfie quality as well. So you will have to clean the screen whenever you are going to take a selfie. So instead of placing the camera behind the screen, I think it's better keep the camera like as in this picture.

Camera lenses usually only get touched and poked by mistake, if a cam was literally behind your screen though it's easy to imagine you having touched the upper part of the screen and caused smudging etc. that ruins a good shot.

AnonD-594740, 20 Jan 2018You can buy OLED TVs and monitor with HRR. Seriously man, ... moreThat's not HFR. Those TVs top out at 60Hz. All that "120X or 240X Smooth Motion" are marketing gimmicks....... not the actual refresh rate of the panel.

It's just the software trickery they use to make ordinary 24 or 30 FPS videos look as smooth as 60 FPS ones (mostly includes inserting black frames or duplicate frames in between the actual frames). It doesn't work right half the time for movies........and is completely useless for any kind of gaming. In fact, most of the "technologically literate" people I know who has such TVs usually keep the motion smoothing turned off.

This tech isn't even that fancy either. It's been there for almost as long LCD and LED TVs are in the market.

I've yet to see any TV (other than Nvidias recently announced BFGD - which are more like big a** gaming monitors instead of TVs and they are LCD, not OLED) that can actually do beyond 60Hz, let alone OLED ones.

Learn some tech before trying to prove someone wrong in a tech site.

Thakuma, 18 Jan 2018I don't know why people hate bezels. design of Galaxy S8+ i... moreReason...Larger display, smaller in your pocket. Also Samsung, Apple, LG etc all have more than one dept researching different tech.

It is not yet bring into the market, praising such a good marketing strategy, but people will getting old if Samsung work it too much longer like the foldable phone.
