I wrote *iPhone's* AMOLED is more power hungry than *iPhone's* LCD, not amoleds in general. It makes sense too since iPhone X is the first iPhone with an Amoled, while iPhone 8 is their 11th (!) with an LCD, obviously Apple is more versed with LCD technology, each generation their oleds would get better in power consumption from now on, obviously.
But again, that's irrelevant. iPhone X as a *totality* is less power hungry that iPhone Pluses of this world. All the stress tests show that. End of story.

The iPhone 8 had battery expansion issues.
The iPhone X has that notch, no fingerprint scanner, no SD slot, no headphone jack... but it has huge price.
I mean, their devices are fast and everything, but only good for really rich people, because they literally charge you for everything, they didn't even include fast charger with the phone.
I would honestly be more surprised that it was selling well. I guess even Apple fans have their limits. And after that stuff with slowing down devices which was all over the media, things will get interesting. Apple had great potential but they wasted it.

3 Never observed that eye burn in. Even Sony has flagship TV's which are LED. And I suppose they are the best ones. Don't worry keep saying that when Sony jumps to oled bandwagon...

After 30mins of amoled usage, my eyes burn like hell! With LCD im perfectly ok after 5 hours!
My eyes are FAR more important than a tech that burns the display after a while.
So what do you want? blacker blacks or working eyes?

Your reading of the article.
It clearly states LCDs are better at video loops, no wonder that the LCD equipped iPhones rank higher ... then again who cares? Do you videoloop through your day, or ever?
Those tests are useless, I gave you one that actually stress tests the devices in a myriad of different situations instead of just "video", and iPhone X wins by a significant margin. Be it that oled actuallys fairs better in certain scenes? Maybe X is better optimized; certainly it has something to do with having a 2700 Mah battery (compared iphone 8's sub 2000 one). Whatever's the case the results are clear and indisputable, if you want max battery life from an iphone you buy the X , end of story.

I am happy with my Moto X4 and Lenovo Vibeshot.
I really not into worm bitten apple with notch, no sd cards, super secure ios where u cant do even a sh-t and stackable used batteries in a brand new phone which a company will slow trough ios in next year or 2 in hopes i will buy new phone.

In camera wise, iPhone X *is* better than most other phones except Google Pixel 2/2 XL and Huawei Mate 10 Pro.
But overall, iPhone X isn't practical enough to be good. Pixel holds a great camera, LG V30 holds a lightweight body and flagship performance, Razor Phone holds a great performance, Huawei Mate 10 Pro has a flagship performance for a great price point, Xiaomi Mi 6 holds a flagship performance for a mid-range price, etc. iPhone X has a high price point with same features as many of these phones.

They can offer me the phone and give me the money it costs with the condition to use it and i'll still refuse. The notch is extremely retarded and i wouln't buy any android phone having one either, but even without the notch there's so much software and hardware restrictions i can never force myself to use it, let alone pay for this "pleasure".
