Too bad those Chinese phone don't have good camera and the software is often buggy. I'd love a 6.43" screen

AnonD-368020, 24 Jan 2018After Sony, Vivo is the most premium Android brand in India... moreSelfie cam advertizing can do wonders. My friend pre ordered A8 2018 and now tells me that she has a better phone because she has dual selfie camera and makes better selfies.

And you don't have to be very wise to simply look up the specs and see that S8 kills the A8 2018 in pretty much everything else. But, she is happy, because now her instagram photos will be better.

So, huge price for under-display fingerprint scanner and everything else is pretty much outdated crap?
Just like I expected from Vivo, and I just feel sorry for all of it's fans who will now be dissapointed.
But don't worry, plenty of people will buy this, but for real, they will buy this just to have the first phone with that feature. And regret it really soon after buying...
Not to mention what if the screen schratches? Or even cracks? What then?

The phone has USB type C not micro USB
It even says that on the article but the spec sheet says micro usb

Who's gonna pay $565 for a Snapdragon 660 and no NFC or usb-c..? Under screen fingerprint scanner is cool but not essential. The bottom bezel is still kinda big considering there's no fingerprint scanner or hardware navigation buttons

The price is justified. You're paying Early Access. Just like iPhones where you're paying Early Access and the Androids are the final version of their iteration.

INR ₹36,000 for Snapdragon 660? Um, no thanks. There are many other essentials which are left out. Nothing really spectacular except that in-display fingerprint sensor.
