24 January 2018
With Premium smartphone demand seemingly plateauing this year, J.P. Morgan reduced its number of forecasted iPhone X’s, thus reducing suppliers’ forecasted incomes.

AnonD-711468, 25 Jan 2018Not "as good", but apparently people don't care about the X... moreAnd in parallel universe, apple has 99.99% market share... I thought reality and concrete numbers are discussed here, not some imaginery statements

If these forecasts hold true, I hope Apple learns from the Xperience.

Forgot to mention... the price of each OnePlus device is outstanding. £450 for technology that works just as good as £800-£1000 phones.

Anonymous, 25 Jan 2018More competition, cheaper competition like Huawei etc affec... moreNot "as good", but apparently people don't care about the X's edge ... or rather they do as evidenced by the sales (it sells more that Huawei's or Samsung's or or phones).

Too much talk over nothing. Apple went over the edge with that $1300 price (on average around the world) and less people bought, it's simple as that. If this phone was priced as the Huawei Mate or Galaxy S it would sell twice or thrice as much, simple as that...

I like the OnePlus approach of "there's some new technology, let's release an updated phone" people then have the option to stick with the one they have (which is fine because the phones are always amazing builds) or upgrade to the newest iteration if they want that technology.

People got enough by super expensive phones.
Where apple X cost 1500 Xiaomi Mi6 cost less than 400.
For price of one flagship vise people can have 3 flagships from other brands the ckumsy ones will stay with apple as long as they will have spare money for bills food and water.
Then they will turn their back at apple.

More competition, cheaper competition like Huawei etc affecting iPhone sales. No longer do people feel the need to spend a fortune on expensive smartphones. There are cheaper and as good as alternatives
