    They couldnt bring mi6 to India uptill now. What about mi 7 ? Xiomi donot have an honest policy towards indian buyers nor do they have set any priorities. Poorer still is their supply chain and manner of flash sales. Whatever little stores they have opened are short of stock and most of it is trivia and no phone worth good mid range to flagship genres are on offer.

      I can answer my phone under shower if I get important call, and I proudly can say that I'm doing so. If you ever get your phone ruined by water, remember your words: "IP68 is good for what? Clumsy people who pick phone from pocket when raining?

      If all people will just be satisfied with such poor deisgn and lack of features - there will be no further progress. And we all know, Xiaomi doesn't develop, they just copy. The same way they copy your data.
      Samsung UI atleast has more customization options, and they are the first to have features, Samsung had multitasking years before competition.
      If you want the best, you will pay for the best, if you want cheap, you buy stuff like Xiaomi, but you can't say that it's the best, since it clearly is not.
      You are maybe satisfied with poor camera performance, but the girl who cares a lot about her Instagram account definitley won't be satisfied with that. She will want a better phone, or simply a phone with better camera.
      There are many people out there, and it's ignorant to say that Xiaomi is simply good enough for every one of them. You don't know what's the best for other people. People buy stuff according to their wishes or their needs. Not everyone is satisfied without a lot of features, and some people just want the best device there is, and that's not something Xiaomi is offering.

        Its uses same GPU and CPU camera was good enough as users of xiaomi can confirm.
        IP68 is good for what? Clumsy people who pick phone from pocket when raining?
        Person who knows what he do dont need such feature.
        Better screen like what? Having LCD or Amoled is a difference but not big enough to die for.
        What else? Nothing. I dont need to compare flat screen vs curved ones because apart from looking different curved one is much more xpensive to repair no screen protector will fit to cover all your screen and if its fit you cant have a cover for your phone because it will push your screen protector. For that case we really dont need curved screen.
        Having finger print sensor on MI6 is good enough paying 100 extra bucks for iris scanner is not an option. Samsung UI as well. Its fne they offer you a lot of apps but these apps cost a lot of space which not everybody uses or needs. And most of them are part of a system thats why i have my Moto X4 with adroid one.
        I have all i need and have nothing of what i dont need or use at all.

          Whoever has the money to go for S8 should definitley do it.

          By your reasoning Xiaomi is better because it's worse and therefore cheaper, and people don't need phones which are too good and cost a bit extra because you get more. It's not better, it's worse, deal with it, you only maybe can argue that it's better buy if we overlook spyware issues, but it's definitley worse phone overall.

            Samsung phones does the same.
            Mi6 cost 400 eur and is as good as S8 Samsung apart of stupid add-ons which not everybody needs.
            Having bigger screen is not everything. For people who bought Mi6 for 400 i can honestly say they will not switch to Samsung S8 for twice the money because the phone is greatly overpriced. It offers some etra features but nothing of that is worth 400 eur.

              Mi6 has 5.15 inches, 73.1 cm2 (~71.4% screen-to-body ratio) ~428 ppi density LCD display

              Now, the S8 has bigger screen (bigger percentage of phone being screen too), then S8 is AMOLED while Mi6 has LCD screen, and S8 has better pixel density aswell... it is definitley not something that people won't notice. The S8 slaughters Mi6 when it comes to screen. It also kills it in terms of features, and finally, how can you decide what's waste of money for someone and what someone needs???

                Rest are just people which needs everything 101% or better.
                Its waste of extra money and resources.

                    For most people specs of Mi6 were good enough.
                    Having for example samsung ui with millions of stupid useless preinstalled apps which looks like a part of OS. Hello no thanks.

                            S8 User, 28 Jan 2018With what exactly?With everything no phone from other competitors will cost the same or less with same specs.
                            For example Samsung S9 apart from IP68 and slightly better camera have nothing better and will cost around 1000 eur.
                            Other phones will have same.
                            Only Razer 2 would be better i expect that.
                            Like Mi6 was better or good like One Plus 5T Samsung S8 LG V30 etc Honor 10 P10 etc.
                            Half the price and still almost same good. CPU and GPU same also RAM.
                            Rest is just add-ons which not everybody can use properly.

                                      Considering the price drop of 2016. and 2017. Samsung flagships, namley S7 and even S8 - they are much better buy than this. The IP68, much better camera, much better screens, more features, better hardware and no spyware.

                                      Xiaomi main feature was it's cheapness, now it won't even be cheap.
