1 GHZ was the snap dragon generation chip-set requirement back in 2010
New requirement set early this year is 800 mhz with later chipsets.
reason for that was newer chipset gets more power due to better design, plus cheaper, so allow a relative lower end segment of WP product line!

Phone looks promising. Tech whores will scoff at the ''underpowered'' CPU, but N8 and iPhone 4 users know better.

The phone looks prmosing. I don't really care that the CPU is an ''underpowered'' 800 MHz if the visuals are handled well by the GPU like the Nokia N8 and iPhone 4. It's a shame though, if Apple decides to be a jerk, this phone might not be sold in the US, ironically it has WP7.

MS released some new specs. If they use the newer snapdragon cpu, it can be clocked in @ 800mhz. Apprently the new 800mhz snapdragon performs on par with the old 1ghz.
