I have had so many problems with Alcatels a few years ago!!! They should learn from ZTE. Just saving a few $ and make a crappy phone, I don't think is the best choice.

Well, it looks well built for a budget phone, and at least you're not going to mix this one up with the iPhone, or any other phone for what it matters. I'm up for that.

Few years ago Alcatel were promising brand. But turned into crap. They can't do even simple flagship - they have to order ZTE Nubia Z17S to mark as Alcatel and sell hugely overpriced.

The hell AlcaFAIL... Going from Snapdragon 625 to Helio P20 and then to MT6750 is going beyond pathetic!
Seems that Alcatel is broke and is not admiting it... Is worse than Leeco....

for that price a snapdragon 430 is not only slightly faster, but has better modem connectivities and better support overall.
A snapdragon 625 would be ideal if the device costed 20 euros more, making it 250€
But i think alcatel and mediatek have a long term history helping each other.
