It's always good to get something for nothing. Getting multi-room music streaming to take on the likes of Sonos, we take our first look at AirPlay 2 in the iOS 11.3 beta.

You mean if you connect it via Bluetooth? That's probably not it, because, there is no quality to differentiate ... unless you count SBC/AAC codec.
You mean connecting iPhone via a jack to an external amplifier? If so then yep, quality will be higher, but still, average at best.

Even my Fiio M3 sound much better than my iPad Pro.

          Avovymous, 04 Feb 2018i had 2 series of iPod Touch and both of them worked great ... moreTo my ears, they just sound poorly - same as iPhones or iPads.
          They were much better, long time before Apple donwgraded DACs.
          I pretty much despise audio output on my iPad Pro.

              I don't think so.

                  That's actually quite awesome! I can finally listen to my 3,400 songs on a much better audio through my iPod Touch! ^^
