The Nokia N97 wer... moreJust for the record, this has nothing to do with Nokia or the N97 or N95 or any other manufacturer or phone which was released in black and white. This is solely about the SGS2, the iPhone and how similar Samsung is making the SGS2 to the iPhone. That's all.
Samsung has never primarily given a phone both a black and white shade up till the iPhone 3GS' release, which it then deliberately gave a white coating to it's flagship at that time, the Omnia 2, in an attempt to sway the market towards its favor by offering the exact same color combinations as its competitor.
Fast forward today, Samsung are STILL doing the exact same ploy with the SGS2. It doesn't get much clearer as to what sort of stunt Sammy is trying to pull off here again.

I have a black S II and from what I have seen, that's the better choice! Somehow the white color doesn't suit the beast!!

The Nokia N97 were released in white and black and that EN BEFOR ETHAT, NOKIA RELEASED THE N95 in Black and white and that was before the first iPhone came out, so please stop bullshittin, just because you can only think about apple, really unbelieveble, how far applefans would go, thats more than enough proof for me, that applefans are blinded... I like Apple, but I dont think its the techgod, just a company with some product, which glow in a way, that most people think it is special... Second thing is, that it is really really dumb, I cannot say how much anger grows inside me, that there are people again, who now try to put something like that up for debating, how this is copying apple again... Dude, why dont apple sue Samsung, because you can make calls with samsung phones, aint that an apple original, too?
To say that people would relate it to apple, NO!!!! The thing is, that YOU relate it to Apple, because you are an Apple Fan and I am a Smartphonefan, who is not so blinded, to look only at one product and dont care for something else. I dont understand how and why people can do such dumb things.
PS: So just that you know, Black and White aint colours.

Probably SG2 is going to outsell the upcoming iphone 5 in all countryes except US. As for the colour versions...most manufacturers release their handsets(especially flagships) in 2 colours mainly black and white...so it was logical for Samsung to release the white version of SG2....! But given apple's passion for absurd lawsuits, maybe they'l sue Samsung for this as well!
