Just because a phone dosen't give you specs you look for dosen't make it a fake brand. Just like every other major brand in the world, HMD has borrowed rights from NOKIA to use its brandname on phones. NOKIA 6 was awarded as the most durable phone of 2017(jerryrigeverything). So build quality matters. As far as price is concerned, people don't buy overpriced phones just because of brand names (except IPhones of course). There is no doubt of build quality or performance in N8. Is it the best? Probably not. Is it worth the money? With all the monthly updates, OS upgrades and services they provide with flagship level features and SECURITY, its one of the top 10. It costs around 28K Indian rupees compared to 33K Indian rupees for One Plus 5T. Which is a deal. I don't understand what you are moaning about all these months. I own an N8, and can comment with experience. Photos are in no way bad, but it isn't the best. It's the best natural color photos though and best in class LCD display. It's something you can trust in. And Nokia nostalgia is all about trust, the new HMD-NOKIA phones keep the same trust. They are coming back as a new brand establishment. I'm sure Nokia will start delivering kickass designs instead of the now safe designs of 2017. So you can be at peace with Nokia. Be sensible.

Luxor, 02 Feb 2018Check out SD670 coming soon with Adreno 620. Model number can't be taken as a proof of improvement. Adreno 510 from Snapdragon 650, 652 and 653 is same in performance to adreno 418 from Snapdragon 808 and half as powerful as Adreno 430. There also CPU performance of above mentioned 3 chipsets outclassed older duo of Snapdragon 808 and 810. Same story repeated with Snapdragon 660 where it comes close to previous flagship Snapdragon 820 ( not outclassed it).

And IPS is a completely different technology from OLED, and therefore also irrelevant for this discussion.
And yes, ALL OLED panels have burn-in. It's a basic fact of OLED. LG is the only manufacturer that has managed to produce quality OLED TV panels though. Samsung can't even do that. Samsung is better at producing smaller OLED displays, but LG is catching up there as well.

Carol, 02 Feb 2018Have you ever used this phone? Ever made pictures with it? ... moreI agree 100%. I had the Nokia 8 and now have the Pixel 2 XL and I actually miss the camera on the Nokia! I am a painter and decorator and need a camera which takes super accurate photos of my interior work and TBH with the Nokia, when I look at the colours in the room, take a picture and then look between what I am actually seeing and the representative image on the phone it is astonishingly true to life. This might just be the more accurate display on the Nokia. But anyway, the N8 has a brilliant camera and I have used Samsung S8, iPhone 7, LG G6 and IMO is my favourite of the lot. Yes, the focus is slow and the app itself might not be slicker than the others but the results can be absolutely beautiful.

According to most review Nokia 8 camera quality NOT as good as other flagships.
Thought they would fix that on nokiea 9. Guess not.... :(

The camera bul*** is allready smoked. I already said. The quality is good and does not fall back. Only cause clowns and dxo marc, other clowns, that have gave lumia 1020 lower rating then iphone 6, which is a crapp from top to buttom..., try everything to troll the nokia comment section, like the clown that is always here to tell us how s**** people look like, or like whatever other wannabe on internet that make money out of propaganda, lying to the mass of mo*** about how good crapp is. Be smart and stay out of the sheepway. Test them, use them, then comment. If you are unable to do that, then be smart and stop using words on devices you never hold.
