Between the r&d in all their tech, the price of the parts, the advertising, the accessories like fast charger and $100 set of headphones in the box, paying all their employees. ... workers, designers, bosses, developers. . yada yada.
$200 would bankrupt them

The technology in todays high end... moreYou only pay for the illusion of having the "best" phone, while in reality your overpriced PHONE can not do anything more than even the cheapest PHONE can do! My "cheap" Moto G4 can do everything just as good/fast... as Samsung's Note 8 can do, but the higher price tag makes Note 8 owners think, fool themselves, that their Note 8 is "better"!

Note7 owner, 01 Feb 2018This phone needs to be around $400-$500 to make any sense.. Ahh stop your whinging... The technology in todays high end phones is amazing. If you want the best you need to pay for it.
