Meanwhile you continue to lies and cherrypick.
I compared my shot to iphone 8 and X as well as note 8 and V30.
note 8 is a tad better but not by much.
iphone 8 and X are inferior in many aspect ( beside portrait mode wich is a tad better)
V30 is inferior on normal picture but beat essential on video.
So try again.
I have better battery life than any of the current flagship.
Same speed if not faster ( clean android )
Much better material so my phone can easily survive drop and wont bent ( no cheap aluminium)
I receive security update a few days after pixel ( beating all others android device flagship or not even blackberry )
you are the one that no one take seriously because you are those kind of person that beleive a brand is better than a quality device. I challenge you to verify the claim i said go on and see i was right otherwise just stop wasting my time.

As for liberty here just two example :
i can put a calender as full page on my phone desktop something i really appreciate that i cannot do on iOS.
I can keep all my purchase if i want to try another brand ( beside apple lol ) where with apple if you switch say bye bye to all your purchases.
So everyone have differents needs ( something i learned working in the field ) but one thing is sure you can always find what you want on android side there is phone that are very limited like an iphone ( stock with no app installed ) like pixel and some near stock android or you can get features packed device like Samsung.
You have the choice with android that what i like.

I work in the cellphone industry at a business to business level and i test mostly all device and i also am the one handling issues with those big clients.
return ratio on many brand is horrible and ppl still buy them ( Apple , samsung ) at super high price.
What i recommend to anyone searching a good device is to simply talk with tech support ppl at any carriers they know what devices bring the most troubles.
Its might be almost impossible to repair but its also almost impossible to break and i had less than 0.005% return on those.
Samsung return rate is nearly 30% same with apple... yes 3 device out of 10 sold come back with issues in the first years thats crazy.
out of all the essential i sold ( hundreds of them easily ) only 1 came back broken and the guy refused to put a case or a tempered glass protector on it and drop it and a rock hit the screen and one came back with the earpiece grill comming appart ( covered by warranty )

I am an IT guy and tech support so i tend to push my devices. What i love on android is the fact i have my calender as a full page right on my desktop same thing with my inbox something apple cannot do. I also like the fact i can use a tons of differents brand and still keep all my purchases. Finally i like having more for my money ( Hell i buy phone every 3 months lol ) so its not thats i cannot afford it but i dont want to waste money on overpriced limited device.
Did you know apple music work on android? all the app you said work both on android and ios.
How someone get music ect has nothing to do with this stop trying to deflect.
Your iphone do not compare to a luxury car luxury car are often way superior to normal one.
Iphone compare more to a mazda 3 posing as a luxury car its what you get for what you pay that is the issue and nothing else. (
So the issues is paying premium price for low end device nothing else.

I got one before on an app I bought accidentally and an app I didn't like. Also apple will not force u yo update and u can even hide the notification to update through the settings. The only time apps stopped working after an update was when some developers decided to stop updating their apps to accommodate 32bit devices like the 5.5 year old iphone 5. In which case you are just stuck with an older version of the app. Not sure what u mean by more freedom and more options. I suppose u are right but I never felt that I need more freedom on any of my devices so it might just be me.

I don't even know how old you are or you economic state. I never said I have the iphone x. I said iphone 7 plus. And I had the iphone 5s and the galaxy s5 then I borrowed an S8 for 4 months and I bought the 7 plus. I am not going to explain myself to you. I have used both platforms and I say that the limits of iOS are overhyped on forums but not in real life. I use amazon video and netflix, apply music and spotify so I haven't had to use itunes for years! Where do you get your music from? How do u transfer it to your phone? How often do you find free legal content that u need to use your pc to transfer it to your phone? If there is a link to download you can do it on both platforms. iOS has a files app/ a file browser. U have never owned an iphone and it shows.
This is 2018, people stream! You don't need to use itunes to transfer photos and videos u took to your pc. It shows up as a usb device on "my computer". GSMarena posted an article a few months back analysing the cost for iphone x and it's more than the note 8. Go search on here. U don't like flagship phones then don't buy them some people prefer to have a flagship android or an iphone. Calling people names because the spend their money the way the see fit is not very mature, is it? Do you drive a renault captur? I've heard you can customize it by replacing the seat covers. Do you also open the window at the traffic lights to tell the guy in an audi with a non replaceable leather seat that he is a sheep and that you are superior to him for spending less?

After they slowed down my iPhone 6, I had to buy a new one. I picked the 8 over the X. On the spot I knew the slowing of the phones combined with the selling of the X would drive consumers to buy the 8 instead. The 8 is a great phone... like my 6 was when I bought it.. smh. Great phone though! And I refuse to buy the X out of respect for my BlackBerry 10 phones who Apple stole the gestures from. What’s next, left side swipe notification? Bruh..

Now lets make it iphone 8 versus X..
Camera quality is identical ( beside dual cam but then you can get the 8 plus and get it for cheaper )
Front cam quality of picture is similar between the 8 and 8 plus and X.
screen quality is strange on the X its way too yellow.
iphone 8 plus has better battery life.
all newer iphone handle fast charge and wireless charging.
Lack of home button can be a good and a bad thing its a question of taste.
All newer iphone are as smooth as each others.
They all have great stereo speakers.
Face ID is not that impressive depending on usage cases.
IF iphone X was like 100$ more than a plus its might pass but more than 200$ more in Canada its make no sense. and even then they are all overpriced.

picture quality is more than megapixel and level of detail there is also colors reproduction , how its handle dark scene and high dynamic range as well as video quality and stabilization ect.
sure nokie 808 and 1020 took a lots of detail ( i still have a 1020 at home with the Camera grip case ) but the overall picture look pretty much ugly compared to about any current day flagship.
But detail only they are still unbeaten.
