thick bezel lol.. i love asus n its zen ui but after the sucses of zenfone 2 i think they have a bad design phone, look more like a chinese phone from the back n old samsung design phone from the front., come on asus u can make a better design than this :((

Asus ZenFone 4 is not even launched in India after being announced almost a year back, and there are talks of ZenFone 5...What a joke!

This is embarrassing. Seriously Asus, you're a Taiwanese company. Why would you go at the level of copycats like the Chinese OEMs?

people today can't think critically. The back camera design is more like Sharp Aquos S2 even the antenna line is more like Meizu Pro 7. Damn it, not every smartphone is looks like iPhone, maybe it's just people can't think deeper.

Asus need to sort out and simplify their phone names. Makes buying the right one more of hassle especially when buying from resellers which is off putting to consumers

If the reason to forget it is being an old tech then it should have been gone from laptops long ago. But hey, laptops has few ports to use, but a phone with only a charge port means no wired headphones unless you use something else.

Any Asus with the model code starting with 'X' usually refers to the Pegasus lineup, which is equivalent to the Zenfone Max series, except Zenfone Max is using initial model code ZC. The internal hardware are the same between the Asus Pegasus and Asus Zenfone Max, it only differs on software and naming convention depending on the market target.
So far ZS is for the Flagship model, which is the Deluxe, Pro and AR. Followed by the Midrange ZE model, a balanced device that ticks of the correct checklist. Then came down to ZD for the Selfie camera series and ZC for the Max battery capability, and lastly down the league the Affordable ZB for the Go and Live models. The ZX series only came in one generation, which is the Zenfone Zoom but then no more of that model came out.

Still the overall size of the phone is smaller than "current" 16:9 phones. So hey, good thing.

Here it is. The consequence of 18:9 screen ratio and the lazyness of phone company : damn tall smartphone!
And, if this year iPhone will have a camera in the bottom, Well, it is interesting to see wether other company will follow or not.
