          Yes, the Amazfit 2 (also called Amazfit Stratos) is the new model, but only the Chinese version is released. The update with the English language will come out in march though.

                    Garmin is just light years ahead of Apple watch - build quality, software, GPS accuracy, build quality, battery life, build quality is just superb on Garmin watch.

                    Did I mention Garmin has a much better build quality? :-D

                      Imho better is battery life, heart rate sensor, sleep tracking, GPS support and app for sports tracking.
                      Worse is build quality - plastic vs metal, slower UI, no music controls, few watch faces and few apps.

                      I am quite curious if my Pebble watch metal strap can be used with the Bip.

                        BTW: Xiaomi Amazifit Bip looks like an Apple watch? ... Really? To be honest, all I can see is standard squared shape watch, that looks really similar to Pebble.

                          Does it show 3rd party notifications? Its good watch for price but circular display would be better

I use Garmin Vivo active and the menu / visuals (including probably the display tech) is the same as this one by Xiaomi. I think it is actually a good thing as I started feeling that Garmin is not innovative fast enough now on the mid segment of the category. This will push them again. Though if you are looking for a fitness watch, Garmin are still the best.

                                Mi band 2 is so far better...Sleep,steps,notifications and heart rate just 25$.. and 18-20days battery back up..

                                        Apple should make real products, not crap. Xiaomi copies indeed but the final product is better. for me looks like a garmin copy not an Apple not an Apple watch one, just look at the menus and activities.
