Still rocking Marshmallow and I have little to no complaints, the newer versions aren't all that faster or different anyway.

Marshmallow and Nougat are the best versions. Very smooth. Oreo isn't that different. At least android rocks now. iOS is slowing down after each update.

I'd have upgraded my stock Android to Oreo already if my phone wouldn't be stucking in constant freezes after the "upgrade".

Oreo's slow growth is maybe because manufacturers are avoiding treble

I dont know if they are ashamed or are they shamelessly bragging that their latest software just passed 1% after almost 6 months since its released!

As long as sammy stuck in nougat, nougat is the most distributed android. At least for now, time will tell.

hahaha...7 months down for Oreo to be released and yet a 1.5 old Naugat is popular...whats the use of best hardware when it runs on a year and half old OS

If Samsung did their job well, OREO could be at least 10% now.
I doubt A8/A8+ get oreo before june.
                              They will update s7 first.

I dont care if TW has more stuff than stock, all other UIs do. S8+ here was equivalent to $1300.
Should have been updated since early december.

Every year same old story, instead of starting beta test in mid october, Samsung starts in early/half december.

Dear Google, you don't need to launch Android P (Poor) this year. Even Oreo can't even beat Android Jelly Bean OS. Last month i updated from marshmallow to Nougat. Didn't notice any huge difference. And Settings menu should be rearrange alphabetically.

With influx of cheap, prepaid Android 7.0 and 7.1 devices coming out of the woodwork, finally glad to see Android 6.0 become a forgotten memory. That was truly awful as many cheap, prepaid devices on Marshmallow wouldn't allow you to use your SD card to store apps.

Plus, at the very least, split windows. I'm good with just those for now.

It is now becoming the most popular because now many OEMs are shipping Nougat out of the box. Yes, 2018, and still many OEMs release new phones with just Nougat.
