The first-gen camera modules will be able to add bokeh to photos or have great low-light performance.

So Samsung sells camera modules to others, but uses Sony sensors in it's flagships?

I don't get the craze with dual cameras and the dumb bokeh effect which is the new cool thing among teenage girls. It does signify that most people aspire to be teenage girls and consider them cool role models.
However the wide angle dual camera seems to be somewhat useful but the 2x zoom is entirely useless, the zoom setup would be useful if it would go up to 8x.

Didn't get the Idea, hard to tell the quality by describing number of pixels. Sensor size? Aperture? 8mp in 1/2.3" and f1.8 is different than one in 1/3" and f2.2 .

So they've created dual cameras for inexpensive phones but it won't be available on their flagship S9? I'd like dual cameras but not a big phone......I'd like to see a small flagship with all the great specs.

              Lovely stuff.
But my favorite use of secondary camera is for wide angle.

Warm colors ( yellowish tones) and higher EV than necessary.
