The article mentions that the N95's most serious flaw is battery life. I would have to disagree with this. Although the battery life is not great, it can be improved by shutting down a few running services and reducing the screen brightness.
I would say by far the N95's most serious flaw is the GPS, which seems to be faulty across the board. You can expect to wait up to 30 min + for the thing to lock on to a satelite if at all. This is standing in an open field with a clear view of the sky. I'm not sure if it is a software issue with the mapping software, a firmware issue, or simply a fatal flaw in the hardware, but every N95 owner I've known has reported the GPS as being seriously problematic. I sent the first one back in the belief that it was a DOA, but soon found out that it was a consistent flaw amongst all N95's. Don't buy one of these things for the GPS because you will no doubt be as disappointed as myself.
Great camera, awesome multimedia device but quite sluggish.

I think it may have VGA Display, Since, "TV Output" from N95 is VGA, so it can be linked to display also ... & it will save space ....
Brothers, I have N91 & I am scared of replacing it ... It's music is best !! Now, the only question left is .... Is the Earphone music of this N95, better than N91 ?? Plz help...

with the increased size of the screen it should now have touchscreen, since phones with screen sizes from 2.6" above have that. nokia should realize this now imo :)

oh no, now the new n95 have bigger 2.8 inch screen and 8gb space. i worry even the 1200 mAh cant stand longer battery life. it make me more worry after i look at the spec of new n95, the stand by time and talk time only extend a bit, it's so little man. oh no...god save NOKIA!!!!

The 8gb IS going to be a Music Edition so i'd say card slots are being ditched for that reason. Much to the annoyance of snappers. And I disagree that GPS is useless. I use it.

the 8 gb surely looks like a way to counter se's release of w960 and the ifone market in the us market. not a bad technique to get back the market, but the thign is it will also upset current n95 users. bcuz witht he 8gb isn;t enuf of a push to upgrade from the old to the new edition.

YUP!!!
NOKIA SHOULD REMOVE THE USELESS GPS RATHER THAN THE CARD SLOT!!!
hehe!!!hmmm...if there would be a camera cover i hope they use the same technology like SE k850 has!(with the cool lighting effects!)

memory slot is important, but camera lens is more important. i believe nokia have the ability add camera lens even they need to fit the new battery.why nokia always done something half part finish and half part unfinish??
nvm, hope the nokia N97 wish come true

actually the memory card slot and not the GPS was sacrificed to allow the extra memory
