Anonymous, 09 Feb 2018Aww look android users want to be like apple users... how c... moreThe only day I'll decide to use my work's iPhone 8 as daily driver is when apple will permit these things:
    - Expanding memory, and no. I don't mean by using cases or other weird things.
    - Device file Management, operable also from PC
    - Transection of files cross OS via Bluetooth, and NFC.
    - Drag and drop song sync.
    - Killing iTunes chains. The store is awesome but I don't want the shackles thankyouverymuch.
    - Costumization. other than just keyboard.
the day apple will permit all of that. I will become an iPhone usee.

I have quite a few headphones including high-end Shures in-ear but I use my AirPods pretty much all the time since they are so convenient.
They fit perfectly and are so light I hardly notice I have them on. Love how they turn off when I take one out and starts when I put them on, battery is great and the case for them is really neat. Its a really good product.

People really are crazy creatures, having some overpriced rubbish wireless apple product just to use it on android phones which is not designed to be used in first place :)))) no I am not surprised people spends thousands on phones and hundreds of dollars for some useless toys :)))

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2018Could you please suggest some apps like these for my non ap... moreOn Android you can use BatON

I also did the same as mentioned on the news. I customized the airpod tap actions using my iPhone 7 plus which I can use with my Note 8 as well. But the pause function when one of the airpods are taken off from ear doesn't work on Android.

I have used Jaybird Run, Gear icon x 2017, Sony wf1000x, Bose Sound sport truly wireless and airpods for around 2 weeks each and figured out that none of them are perfect. But only airpod is more balanced and best among them. Considering price, fit, convenient, battery life (airpods and case), charging time. I bought the ear grip accessories from Amazon that I can use for casual running and regular gym sessions.

P.S. I use a Note 8 ans iPhone 7 plus as daily drivers.

Yes. Since last year i was able to use my Airpods with my S8 plus with tap gestures. I paired the Airpods using my iphone 7 with ios 11 beta last year, assigned Left double tap for pause/play, and Right for skip songs. Then I sold iphone 7 to buy S8 plus and Airpods work like I intended for iphone 7.

Currently there isn’t another truly wireless pair of earbuds like the AirPods. What happened to galaxy gear iconX

I can clearly see my bluetooth headset/earpods battery status on my Oneplus 3T.

Could you please suggest some apps like these for my non apple Bluetooth headphones?

airpods even though the retail at US$200/ GBP150 show no improvements in audio quality compare to regular bluetooth earphones, with quite a few android recent mobile phones supporting ldac or aptx hd which is significant better than regular bluetooth (4.2 or less) why bother even buying a pair of airpods in the first place
