Among more well-established brands, the prices are relevant. However when you see viable alternatives, there are better deals that concern bang-over-bucks, which is important for some folks especially in developing countries.

I think after this remark, the rest of what you've said becomes irrelevant. I'm cool with usability, aftersales and so on. The brands you've mentioned doesn't even tie Sammy's shoe laces in those sections with bugs and issues here and there. Oh, and don't forget the intrusive ads of Xiaomi, which, you need to pay for, monthly, to stop.

                      Samsung basic phone and specs cant compete anything from famous chinese brands like xiaomi meizu etc.
                      Even J3 2016 cost about 120-140 eur depends on shop and for a 130 eur pricetag we can have much better and faster device.
                      J3 2017 cost about 180 eur brand new for less price xiaommi Note 4 was like brand new rolls royce vs peugeot 207.
                      And thats really uncomparable.

Personally using a J2 Pro 2016 with Speedtrum, facing none of the issues you've mentioned. Not everyone prefers Xiaomi and their bloatware and intrusive ads(yup) and those heavy iOS rip off modifications along with a SD430. Or Nokia which is well and truly overpriced. Samsung provides at a price point where other big brands can't compete it in and only Oppo, Vivo, Gione, Xiaomi can. Maybe Motorola too. But that is that.

                          Samsung needs to be applauded for its guts to resell and keep reselling outdated hardware with minor "adjustments" to suit the "current times" "at exorbitant prices"!
                          If anyone here doubts above statement, please do run a comparison check at the latest inventory of all leading cellphone manufacturers available online on leading e-commerce marketplaces.
                          Personally, sick of old processors and low-quality Spreadtrum and Mediatek SOCs, TFT displays, less than 2GB RAM models being sold as new.
