Honestly.. who thinks of these and decides on implementing it? Half the crap in here aren't even popular. Lacrosse? Badger? Softball (difference to baseball?)? Petri Dish? Abacus?

Yellow emoji was used by Asians, Whites, Indians, South Americans fine but some people have problem with it being "too white" or not wearing a hajab so now we have 6 colored emojis for 1 yellow emoji and I don't know which one is my color.

Pure fail as particular emoji is different on android apple microsoft.... so i stopped using it ;)
What would work is any small vector defined image applicable into any text font context..
so you would send special character followed by xbytes of vector data.... and those would display propely in same way across all devices..
remember slight difference in the emoji might mean no difference for one but might mean totally something else across the pound

It seems to be an efficient way to convey more emotions through writing. Without emoji's, we'd be stuck with using ALL CAPS and excessive exclamation marks!!!!! and that's just to express shouting.

Why can't there be a standard for emojis? Why every company should create their own implementation!?
I mean when I send an emoji to someone I want to know exactly what he/she receives! It's like those stupid and ridiculous cut faces in Android if I send it to someone with an iPhone the emoji they will receive isn't even close to what I sent!!!

Best would be ability to draw one yourself, or animate own face(original animation of face, not just gesture) and then draw over or adjust with filters(frozen, angry,...). Original is da best.

It‘s easier to just type in which emoji you want, for example Hot Dog, and then tap on the one recommended by the section above the keyboard. At least on iOS.
