No ethernet is not really an issue. It's Android/Linux when you dock it, just connect USB 3.0/USB-C --> gLAN adapter for 5-10$ and you are set to go.
I personally do not mind lack of ethernet - I have a 5GHz wifi + I do not use phone for things where latency is an issue.

Dex Pad (sounds like something made by apple) is just a means to from the owners of Sammy devices. A simple cable would do.
"The screen could be used as a touch pad". Why didn't other big companies like Huawei come up with this idea?

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2018You would be thinking about gaming lag. Only applicable if ... moreAnd the dongle is extremely little latency to. And no. There is a latency lag to almost anything you do over wireless. Wi-Fi is not a good option.

AnonD-674238, 09 Feb 2018who still uses ethernet??Try play online games or beam your display wireless ... yeah , the lag will kil
you. Ethernet is not so much about total bandwidtg, it's about speed these days, i.e. to have a little latency as possible between what you do and what the servers see... Wireless is quite awful for that.

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2018The phone has to be physically mounted.. That is from the s... moreLatency.
There is absolutely no way to transfer high bandwidth data (the display) wirelessly, you'd get awful latency, in fact it's already bad enought with cables (if they are older gen and/or long enough)

The phone has to be physically mounted.. That is from the stone age. Why not wireless connectivity? If chaging needed then can be connected to charger
