Hi every one , when i check update on my arc through wifi it says "YOUR PHONE ALREADY HAS THE LATEST SOFTWARE".But when i connect through SE PC Companion the message shows up that"PHONE SOFTWARE UPDATE INFORMATION CURRENTLY NOT ACCESSIBLE"
anyone have the same problem? please tell me...

was it (the update) already here in saudi arabia?

I only got my Play this month. On T-Mobile in the UK. Got it updated to 2.3.3 on the first day i had it. Been checking for this update but not available here yet.

dg, 06 Aug 2011may i know where is the update for my arc from malaysia?go to sony ericsson website and download PC Companion then you can update you phone using PC Companion..

Malaysian people that got xperia arc can update you phone now..it's awosome man love it so much..thanks to sony ericsson will waiting you next update...

Hi friends..i have the hongkong version and had just recieved the update notification....via pc companion...1 hour before ...i updated it and my gosh the themes look great and so glassy...gallery layout has changed,many minor things are tweaked,xloud is amazing..it boosts the bass and treble of the sound along with volume and pinch to zoom overview has floating widgets which can be animated furthur by shaking your device.lockscreen sound changed,new lock animation,display quality amazing...camera zoom function and many tweaks...i love the update....and yeah the bootup time after the update is only some 26 secs....

avi, 04 Aug 2011Not a big update...it wont matter even if i don't get it in... moreI have no problem from the first day I bought it. No freezing no restarting whatsoever. Currently running 2.3.3 and now waiting for this awesome updates! :)

avi, 05 Aug 2011I too used N8 and now am using SGSII...so plz don't atleast... moresymbian loosing market share day by day.my brother have a c7,it is good but not better than android at all.the first day it got stuck on ovi map and started to restart,always lag when opening folders. then i re flashed it using some custom firmware,now it work smoother but restarts sometimes.i think symbian never going to be a perfect OS.Nokia should concentrate on w7.

Enough fight is going on internet between OS's...and I don't want to get into them...entirely personal choice..afterall, one's cellphn will be used by him/her ,..nt by the whole community!!!
