IMO, RIM has made a huge stride by releasing these new latest models and they are very impressive to me and I will be getting 99xx as soon as it comes out.
I have seen and did not try other touch phones but I do believe that I am not ready to jump to all-touch so I need a keyboard to live my day around a smartphone and RIM has delivered just that experience with great attention to user experience.
Best feature that I will be using is the Blackberry Balance..

But when I finally got one of them phones with a forward-facing camera for video calling, I must've used the feature maybe once or twice. You know, the novelty of the thing. Ever since then, it's never dawned on me to ever use it again.
Think about it. How many of you with these forward-facing cameras on your phones, actually make video calls each and every day? Multiple times a day? I've read in one survey roughly 6-7% of cellphone owners have made video calls at least once with their phones.
There's times you just don't want to see the other person you're calling or vice-versa. I'm sure you can think of many reasons why. Telling your GF you're at a BBQ with friends when you're actually at a strip bar is one. On the plus side, I'm sure video-calling adds a new twist to phone-sex.

all the phones dont have nfc only the 9900 does

This phone does not have a front camera we cant make video calls. its such an expensive wastage of money, others like nokia and sony ericsson are manufacturing better phones than this

Like when the sender sends you an email to one of your accounts, does it pop up immediately on your phone? Or does your phone poll your email accounts every 10-30 minutes to check if you have new emails? Just something I thought I'd ask..

Bold Touch without 8 MP cam is not good. I prefer the Nokia E6.

Good to see a BB with PDF document viewer and a higher processor as well as RAM. When will BBs start having flash players. This is long over due. When are we getting BB 9900 Bold Tourch in Nigeria I mean the one without contract plan as network providers in Nigeria such as MTN AIRTEL GLO and most outrageous data network ETISALlAT are to say the least too expensive in terms of contrect plan.

Blackberries are extremely popular here in Quebec, Canada. So when they come out, they will sell alot of units here for sure, no matter what are the improvements lol, lot of BB fanboys over here!

nak, 04 Aug 2011is 9900 available with Ufone or other mobile phone in paki... moremate BB 9900 has been given to the official of RIM in pakistan and they been testing it successfully on the cusrrent network infrastruture. I can't comment as if when the carriers will launch the devices officially, but incase you can have it delivered here in pak from any of your relative/friend, take my words the device will work provided its not RIM/suspended nor network locked.
