AnonD-27765, 13 Feb 2018Too bad These clones can't copy iPhone's quality.Indeed, if they will. I bet no one buy iPhone

Just hoping they don't start comparing the camera with the cameras in high end devices, just like they compared Mi A1 camera with OP5 & iPhone 7+

lets NOT FORGET APPLE have copied htc ones and htc one m8 s design, with iphone 6 and everyone has copied that design since.

Onyxia, 13 Feb 2018Why does this matters anyway? When other manufacturers copy... moreI don't mind the copying. I just Said The examples he looked for

              AnonD-27765, 13 Feb 2018Too bad These clones can't copy iPhone's quality.Or the price.

Kiyasuriin, 13 Feb 2018There are quite a few examples to that: one is Dual camera... moreWhy does this matters anyway? When other manufacturers copy other manufacturers, it will only benefits us! Just like your example, the FPS. If others didn't 'copy' that from Apple, then the FPS would probably not be a standard in todays smartphone. Like I said, it would benefits us, the consumer.

It's 2018 already and people really should see past through the whole 'copying is bad' statement.

Onyxia, 13 Feb 2018Lol. Fanboyism at it best. Samsung's and Apple's smartphone... moredoesn't matter if who did it first. the only thing that matters if who did it better

Anonymous, 13 Feb 2018So tell me. Who did Samsung and Apple copy? The latest Gala... moreThere are quite a few examples to that:
one is Dual camera for apple. Until the iPhone 7 no iPhone had dual camera. since when apple cared about dual cam? never. they just copied from android.
second is the size. remember the iPhone 5S? it was just 4 incher. a year later. you get two sizes. 4.7 and 5.5 from where Apple got that idea? ofcourse. android.
                    Samsung, don't make me laugh:
In the S and Note series up to S4 and Note 3, there were no Fingerprint Sensors. in the day that apple introduced the FPS in the 5S. everyone has it now.
and the iPhone 6 had a rival. small one. the galaxy Alpha. which had essentially the same specs but different chipset:
Apple had their A8 with dual core ticking at 1.4 GHz, AND Samsung had two versions. a Snapdragon version with the S801, Quad core ticking at a whopping 2.5 GHz. (it's still very rare to see phones ticking at these frequencies) and the exynos 5410. same one as the S5. everything else was nearly the same. (I had it. a beautiful phone, but hideous battery life)
shall I continue? I got myriads of examples.

Sony Xperia FOREVER, 13 Feb 2018this is what these days smartphones... copycatting... Samsu... moreLol. Fanboyism at it best. Samsung's and Apple's smartphones are two of the most unique design smartphone on the planet. It would only take a glance to know if you own one.

Samsung and Apple are copycat? It's the other way around! When Samsung make edge displays, include wireless charging, use glass back, etc, others follow. When Apple removed the headphone jack, use FaceID, have a vertical camera placement, etc, others quickly follow. You can say that 'Oh, others already did that 10 years ago', but let be honest here, they only did it because Samsung and Apple did it. These two are THE trend setters. Period.

The chinese are the real copycats. And to be honest, I don't give a crap about it. Manufacturers can copy other manufacturers as many times as they like. In the end, it only will benefits us consumers.

                        AnonD-632062, 13 Feb 2018No words really.....Hmm me too...

I think these guys will compare the iPhone X camera and Note 5 Pro's camera quality during tomorrow's launch as they did it during Mi A1 launch. If so they're real shameless guys...

Still using microUSB instead USB type C is a big downside in 2018(especially) and of course no fast charge

Sony Xperia FOREVER, 13 Feb 2018this is what these days smartphones... copycatting... Samsu... moreThat's some self-consolation bullshit right there. It's like you're looking for a reason to justify your fanboy-ism. Chinese OEMs are known for being shameless but there are other decent OEMs out there aside from "Sony".

No matter how much you preach, it's a fact that Sony doesn't care much about its mobile department. It looks like they've given up already. I'm not saying Sony doesn't make good products rather it's actually opposite. They're not trying at all. They've been very conservative with their design, i mean look at LG, they're trying even though they aren't making much progress.
