Tell me, do you use windows? Do you think all windows users should throw out Firefox and Chrome and make IE and Edge 'mandatory'?
Should iphone users stop using google search and ONLY use siri. Is it 'mandatory' to use Apple maps even if you think there are better alternatives?
Gmail app is redundant because most Android phones come with separate mail app. Play books and movies are the most pointless apps on Adnroid and are the worst form of bloatware

But it comes with costs of Google App. You have to use it. “Pure” here means you wont get duplicated apps. One from google and one from OEM.

Carol, 14 Feb 2018Take the media and people that never used this device, whit... morea friend of mine owns a nokia 8 and compared to my oneplus 5T, the shots present a lot of noise in dark areas, colours are good but it lacks detail too. The oneplus 5T has crispier pictures, less noise and at night the 20mb shooter clearly surpasses the Nokia camera.
It's a shame because the Nokia 8 is an amazing device. I hope the next Nokia phones will have a much better camera

I owe this phone and i owe nokia n8 lumia 950 xl and lumia 1020. Meaning i am a camera fanatic. Well,i took pictures of the same scene with all of them and nokia 8 is not behing any of them, has no low light performance, probably cause of the camera app, that is pretty much lame in front of with what i am used to. And has a slow autofocus in low light. But i got the fealing, this problem comes only cause of the camera software, which is a bit crappy. If lumia camera comes in, will change some very important thinga. Anyhow, the camera is not nearly that bad as every troll and tech wannabes want to point out.

I was only prompted for security update yesterday, no 8.1 yet for my TA1012 variant even tried using vpn for uk, Germany, Netherlands and restarting phone.

AnonD-696124, 13 Feb 2018And oneplus still on december security update and Oreo 8.0 ... morenokia camera hardware is really good only they lack in software part but since its software it can be updated via OTA anytime later till time you can use Google Camera apk(from xda developers) which also supports portrait mode its produce significantly great results on both front as well as on back camera.

Hey, I am having the mirror selfi problem in my nokia 8 and there is no option to turn off the mirror selfi in the camera setting and I already updated with 8.1 oreo beta. Can anybody tell me the solution. I have done all the possible things like resetting. Please tell me how to fix or does anybody has the same issue ?

Beta version 8.1 since December and Now stable version 8.1 with February security patch. The Feb security patch was already released on Feb 1st for Android 8.0 in Nokia 8. Way ahead of its competitors. It feels good to stay updated.

Anonymous, 13 Feb 2018HMD uses stock android. Why does it take way more time th... more6p ??? Lol. 6p is google device, while nokia 8 is HMD/nokia device. Anything outside nexus/pixel device programe will receive update slower. But sometime hmd do it faster than google for monthly security patch and still faster than any other android OEM for major android update. Stock android not means everything on that phone is stock like nexus/pixel.
