imRGZ, 15 Feb 2018Yeah...I will simply go and buy any one of Sony, Samsung an... moreI also have a LG 49" 4k TV bought for 1.42 lakhs three years ago. I had to replace the motherboard for 18k three months back which translates to Rs.1.60 lakhs cost so far. Even if it lasts another 5 years, the average cost per annum works out to Rs.20k. If Mi TV 5 with 55" (screen size bigger than 49") lasts even four years, the average spend per annum is only Rs.10k. As long as it gives similar good picture quality, the killer price effectively takes out all other brands. If the Mi TV fails after four years, still it is not bad. You have the option to buy latest model at that time. But when we spend huge amount in Sony, Samsung or LG we will not be inclined to change the TV even after seven/eight years unless we are super rich!!!

interesting. would love to have this in comparison to my LG

Mi LED TV4 55" does not have ports which connect cable TV or Analog / Digital RF Antenna, it works only with DTH Dish Connection or WIFi internet basis. Many of Indian users are dependent on RF cable connection. Hence it is not much useful in Indian context.

As I know, in China the TV has no Speakers and hence it is packaged with Dolby Atmos Soundbar.

What's the deal with Indian model?
