A speaker without AUX, Bluetooth, and uses shady quality silicone instead of synthetic rubber that won't rip and tear after a year of use. Of course, call a dumb AND annoying speaker smart. Only in Apple land. It's okay if they do it though right? We're just blind Apple haters, right!?
I hope this thing stagnates to the point where Apple discontinues it.

"but, but, but they did too, so why can't we?" mentalism is superb, even for Apple. well yours is the most expensive, why can't you aim higher

But, to be honest, rubber feet, foam or anything that prevents markings and vibrations ... did really nobody tested this "speaker"? Do users really have to fix it because Apple "forgot"?

HomePod is just a reaction to the many voice/AI-assisted speakers. Nothing more, and is very limited. This is the state of innovation of Apple without Steve Jobs - producing half-baked, features lacking, expensive and ugly products: Apple Map, AirPods, iPhoneX, and now HomePod.
