iPhone owners, as with all Apple products fall into two categories. Apple owners and Apple users. The owners use it because it's "cute" and they don't know any better. The users actually push things and find those tricks to make it work right. For example tell an Apple owner to right click something on their MacBook... OH GOD that's funny. Then again giving them the power to do what you're asking for is probably a bad idea in the first place, hence the reason Apple doesn't enable the right click by default.
iOS is the same way, less buttons, less things they can get themselves in trouble with!
Plus watch an Apple owner try to switch to Android... It's like a high speed train wreck. A "back" button that's always in the same place? The ability to switch keyboard apps? Launchers? MicroSD expansion? Sending text messages from anything besides the built in app? Universal accessories? A phone without the mighty Apple on the back? Hat's off to Apple for corralling them away from Android.

But the issue is same.
Switched to android because IOS is just too much.
An OS which never cooperates.

Well for many bugs reason i have an android problem fixed.
I give up with apple 3 months after release of Iphone 6 back in 2012.
Was one of my worst phones i ever bought.

IOS is well known as buggiest OS
don't immediately install the update. always wait for few days until confirmed no weird issue with the update

Long time user knew iphone mostly has couple updates,
1. Bring new update
2. Fix alot of bugs of latest update
