Just because it's a bad move and executed by your chosen brand - that doesn't make it "sensible" all of sudden. If my phone had it removed, I'd be pissed off. M4's like any other Sony - crap and thank god I don't have to deal with that phone anymore. :-D

AnonD-481725, 17 Feb 2018Night mode?? Such an important subject made this fuss, how ... morePeople who care about their eyes use this feature. Especially the ones who stare at monitors all day long, it helps to minimize eye strain and so it's actually a REALLY essential feature to have on your phone too! Don't try to spin stupid decisions by Sony into something positive, of which it's so far away from. People would behave the very same way, no matter the brand - if you cut useful features and force people into using 3rd party apps - it's not really a nice way to treat your customers.

It's true that some 3rd party apps can have more customization and so on, but the OS itself should still have the feature too in case the apps aren't working. And that's a stock Android feature, so especially in this case: no real reasons to disable it. F*ck every manufacturer who does this trick!

You know i recently submitted my phone in the local service centre for a single dead pixel issue and the service centre guy tricked me replaced my phone with old and faulty one with back cover open. IMEI was also different. Now they are not ready to replace it back neither sony is taking any action. They are looting the customers.
