Just to justify Sony's bad moves with their phones. I bet they'd be okay with a stripped-down Android which wouldn't allow using any keyboards or something as crazy as that.

Way easier and more comfortable for my eyes. No need to remove it and force people to download 3rd party apps. They are doing it wrong.

And we know Sony's LCD panel is about longevity to the point where it's software becomes obsolete overtime. I'll tell you I have a Xperia Z2 and look at it, it's slow and obsolete, apps sometimes crashes and screen has ghost touch on it. There's Sony's slogan "If it's not broken don't fix it". Why would I invest my money into fixing a phone that's 4 years old that will never get a night mode, lost trust in Sony and I would go ahead and buy a another brand that doesn't have obsolete software support that doesn't offer built in night.
PS: Night mode doesn't work well on LCD display, neither dark mode will just cause battery drain on Sony's devices, just saying.

Hayaan Mo Sila, 16 Feb 2018It's because there is no available app for this thing on iO... moreBlue light filter as an OS feature is baked into the ROM. It doesn't consume internal storage space. And Samsung's stock blue light filter is better than every other 3rd-party alternative.
