Hey, it's the locals in China who quoted me that phrase. They themselves think that, Xiaomi is the phone you buy while you aspire to save for the iPhone. China views Apple as the premium brand, while Xiaomi is the cheap & good imitation. if you're not satisfied, then you can take it out on the Chinese themselves, for their impressions of their own local brand.

How about Miui? No app drawer? Mi pad? Mi notebook air? Or what about all previous Redmi/Mi phone designs? Or the fact that Lei Jun, the CEO himself said Xiaomi is a merge of both Amazon and Apple as a business? current Redmi Note 5 Pro blatantly copied the iPhone X dual camera back (both design and positioning)...

Can't expect much with Android platform. Updates cycles are always sub-par compared to iOS. Now I'm rocking on the A1 which will be my last phone with Xiaomi, before I switching over to Nokia which has a better track record keeping up with OS updates.

When you go troll someone next time maybe you then have facts straight and know more.
And for the camera location and how it's angled we may say that IPhone 8 is one way and X in other way so one of them copy what ever other brand cause both cant be first in market and as 8 and X are the newest models of iPhone with dual lens in the back. By moving it to a new location with every new model then you cant say someone copy them with the location. If you don't have your own location to begin with so you change it's location then you copy someone or someone copy you and is it intentional or not that does not matter in the end of the eyes of fanboys. Nokia is one of the brands who have staid true and have always had camera in the back top middle and other brands have moved it around all the time.

It works really great in my opinion, its fast and thanks to the haptic feedback you get its real easy to know when its triggered, you can do it with your eyes closed :)
