It's funny the comment's abou the new phones. The Iphone wasn't the first brand with that kind of Screen. The Iphone just followed others brands and improve the ratio. People keep complaint about android phones being copy Apple but that isn't true. If we look to the olders Iphones models, they don't showed any kind of improvement.

Not every move from Apple is always right and/or good.
We can have bezel on top while have the bottom nearly small bezels for software keys/gestures. The problem with most of the big brands today is that they just became unimaginative.
I'm holding my breath for LG, HTC, Sony, or someone else to change the mood of our situation.

The essential phone had a respectable notch only for the camera which was actually convenient. But since Apple made that huge notch i guess every manufacter wants to do it too.
Me, i rather have a bit more bezels than having a ridiculous notch. Thank god i went with the oneplus 5T before it's out of stock..
