From the country where I live, the price of an i-Phone X and a Note 8 is almost the same..
Note 8 = 49,999
iPhone X = 51,990
And at those price tags, you can already buy an Acer gaming laptop or an ASUS RoG laptop..
If an S9 is going to be the same price as a Note 8, then it’s better to just go buy a brand new gaming laptop and install an android emulator on it..

Interesting to see if there is any upper limit how high these can go... most propably not. Someone is always willing to pay some extra. But, Yep. If you buy 1000$ iPhone and sel it one year later you wil easily get 800$ From it. If you buy Samsung Galaxy s for 1000$ you can get new one year later at 500$ and 200-300$ From you one year old phone. So it is true that iPhones keep their price better...

Apple asks extra money but Apple has many oppotunities which not by Sammy.

There are prices of iPhone to compare..

Mobile phone prices are getting more and more ridiculous. And manufacturers keep charging high prices because people still purchase them. Apple, I understand. That's always been them--charging really high prices for their products but at least, you get to sell them at a higher price at a later point in time. But other phones? Really?

If you think other companies aren't going to do this you don't know how the mobile phone industry works. The next new LG, Sony and HTC and new pixel phones will go for around the same price. The difference between iPhone's and android is that, flagship prices drop quicker than an iPhone price ever will.

People what's wrong with you all? S8 was launched for 799 euros and u still bought it, now only 40-50 euros more is expensive? You pay 800 euros but the problem is those 40-50 plus? Cmon!!!
