Why do they have to necessarily design a smartphone of themselves when they can just partner with a current known OEM and license their Energizer battery to them?

How thick is this gonna be? 20mm? Also if only they'd spent a little e more and used a Snapdragon 625 or 630. The battery performance would most likely be even more impressive
