Nokia N9 release countdown pulled down from the website

08 August, 2011
Is it just a faulty counter? Or has Nokia changed the launch date for good or for worse?

Launching in Malaysia in less than 3 weeks, Nokia Manager in Kuala Lumpur confirmed this. Expected in Late August.

Since the release of the N9 was postponed, i think nokia should focus on trying android os on the n9 for a change, cz i think the nokia N9 is a beautiful phone and it'll be very disappointing if it didnt have the android os, and im sure if the nokia N9 would run on android, it'll be the biggest hit of the year.

Elop thought it was too soon for N9 and too much focus on Meego.

Greatest mistake for Nokia => not implemmenting Android on their smartphones.. The hardware of the N9 would have made a quite powerful device

I've always been a big nokia phone all these years , but since have used E6 and n8 and compared it with android or IOS based phones i have really lost faith in this company . no matter how good they make their upcoming phones i doubt i'd buy any of them . Nokia have lost the plot and it will take alot to catch the likes of android and IOS . Nokia's current line of phones still seems to be in 2008 where as we are in 2011 . :/ RIP Nokia

Well Nokia and Microsoft have an expo happening in few days. Maybe they are going to release the windows phone first? And then the N9. I'm sure they don't want the N9 effecting the sales of the windows phone. Either way we are waiting. :)
