Sony s superior auto mode is vastly overrated. Besides being slugish, it has too many lacks to enjoy it in quick shooting.
I ve brought several phones with me on vacation, i missed great photos on first day, now i prefer using S6/Honor 7x and lumia 950 during my sessions.
So i m curious to see the new hardware AI assisted photos in action on P20.

Some animations and UI elements in EMUI 8.0 looks inspired or influenced or rather copied from Samsung Experience UI. The FBI, CBI & The NSA has already warned against using Huawei smartphones. Huawei lacks originality, like most other Chinese brands, which is why they are afraid of lawsuits against them outside China..

Huawei is in no position to challenge Samsung. Just Because Huawei was one of the first to launch an SoC with a dedicated NPU built in. I think machine learning and AI are over exaggerated on smartphones. It can be used to learn the usage pattern of an user and it can then be used to spy in a comprehensive way. AI, Real Time Scene & Object Detection are emerging features that are still in beta state and I don't need them because I like shooting in manual mode most of them. It helps to learn the different aspects of photography and brings out your creativity. As for object detection, I never need to detect any object. Google, Amazon, Ecom sites are enough. So many alternatives are already available, like for shopping or it might be helpful in real time translations. If I'm flying all the way to Paris to take a pic of the iconic Eiffel Tower, shouldn't I already know what I'm clicking. That's how AI in its current state works. Why you need assistance of an artificial intelligence when you have the most real and functional intelligence which will never be replicated by an AI, at least on a smartphone. If anything, Huawei should feel ashamed of ripping off the Notch design from iPhone X and shamelessly presenting the P20 junk on the prestigious MWC..

I own huawei p9 plus...im starting to feel disrespect towards huawei... by looking at the leaks for p20 they cant do their own original design and just copy that stupid notch and to make it worse having bottom bezel for the plus model. I hate to say this but I prefer ipx design over p20.
