I owned one. It comes with a type-C to 3.5mm headphone jack dongle. It is analogue(no built-in DAC in dongle).
Basically, it used 2 connections in the type-C port as left/right audio out in analogue. I am not sure if it sounds equal to a standard 3.5 headphone hack or not.

instead of improving, they are going backward by losing some functionality like the jack.

3.5mm jack is the only thing missing in this piece of art. still a no buy for me. :( put 3.5mm jack!!

yes, wireless is great. I don't like use my modem with cable or for playing madia in tv it is great.
but for headphones ! why?! what is problem!
the mobile corporations are solving a problem that doesn't exist.

because I use my headphones about 5-6 hours a day at least.
yes normal users can use ther daily 30 min sessions with wireless headphones but someone like me this isn't good.
corporations should stop forcing things on us.
3.5mm jack is old but they have all should have.
Removing a mature technology is not good thing.

I didn't know that it doesn't have 3.5 mm jack.
I don't buy it.
What the hell!
Huawei uses a 384kHz DAC on it and no headphone jack?!!!
So what is the use case of DAC !
DAC don't work with usb port!
DAC is only for speakers and if it had headphone jack, for it.
I don't want to buy another wireless device.
I have enough of them around me.
I don't want increase it.
So I never buy a device without headphone jack.
Also I don't want to pay more for a wireless headphones.
The mobile corporations are cruel :(

Can use m-pen with 8.4 inch version? (I mean if i buy m-pen separately, 8.4 inch ver. Also it has m-pen compatibility and tools?
Because 10 inch version is heavy and also very big for me.
Weight of 8.4 inch version is great and also its size is great for me.
Also can the GPU of them decode (10bit x265 1080p)(Main10) or (10 bit H264 1080p)(Hi10P) ?
(I mean natively by hw decoder not by cpu (sw))

Oh wait, we do! It's called the usb-c and an adapter (y or simple) costs no more than $4 .... Imagine if there was a solution that people were actually were of .... *that* would solve all our issues. Because there is literally no issue here.

There is no headphone connection, and to me this is a deal breaker. I like to watch movies on it without bothering other people.

A dated chipset + no headphone jack + no camera flash + high price = No way!
I am gonna keep using my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 LTE again... :(

Huawei is probably the next Apple with all the inhouse silicone they have..
It's about time people stop crying about the 3.5 mm jack.. It is on its way out.. Same as the microusb..

Stupid. It should allow EMUI mode from the Mate 10 if you want to use it with Keyboard/mouse like a computer. ARGH
