How can anyone buy a phone based on YouTube videos?
Where are links the original files? I need to see how they look on a real screen, and if they load into my NLE without QuickTime installed.
Bandwidth is not an issue. Cloud Storage is cheap and abundant. Don't want to have to pay a restocking fee because I believed made a purchasing decision based on a YouTube video link or some biased reader who told me what I wanted to hear just to sell me on their choice device.

The punchy color not always good when the natural color shows the truth to real life scene/object.
Punchy color just like the MSG in the cooking ingredients, the more MSG doesn't mean come with great taste at the same time.

The Lumia 950/XL takes better shots than this new phone - which is an iPhone X clone btw.
The Lumia has manual controls paired with the best camera app out there, plus it has a 20 mpx sensor with big pixels, so you don't need two cameras. You can just zoom in without losing any details.

Also, comparisons should be made with other smartphones cameras in manual mode and HDR mode, with with that particular mode.

lmfao... these have been shopped to the maximum.
Isn't it amusing that when you buy these phones and try them at home, you cannot even get close to the sample photos provided by the manufacturer in their advertising material?

I could be wrong, but these pics don't seen to be the HDR pics. Because they have specific ISO, Shutter Speed and one of the 2 f-stops mentioned. Which curiously wad the same with the Note 8 photos.
If Samsung is actually using HDR and has worked on the HDR algorithms, I am expecting some noticeable improvements in photo and video (video does seem to be better) quality. These photos could have been shot in RAW and processes into JPEG.
Also, to speeden up the processor, I hope Samsung has done something equivalent to the pre-burst in 4k photo on Panasonic Cameras, where for HDR it starts running photo processing Before you press the shutter button/ icon, gathering all vital infornation (meaning shooting photos already) necessary for carrying out the operation.
