The biggest iPhone yet may have 1,242x2,688 resolution, A12 chip, gold color option

Once again we're told to expect three new iPhones to launch this fall.

The notch isn't that bad! It's meant to look this way to pack high tech selfie and Face ID camera. No other phone company has that. It deserve to have more sensors infront.

    This resolution contradicts (1242 x 2688 pixels) the 480-500 PPI prediction for the Plus model.
    If you calculate (SQRT(1242^2 + 2688^2))/6.5 = 455 PPI, which it means that is less than iPhone X (458 PPI).
    In my opinion the resolution will be around, or the same, with 1440 x 2960 pixels, for the 6.5 will be around 506 PPI, closer to the prediction.

    Obviously, we will have to wait 'till fall for Apple to confirm what we will get with the Plus model.

      I get that the industry is continually expanding the average height of phones. However, I think Apple would do well to release a compact model a la Sony. Not everyone wants a phablet.

            I am currently an iPhone user / fan or whatever you call it - i hate to say they are actually going off track somehow. Nokia is back for sure and i may switch - Was a Nokia user back in the days.

              will definitely buy within a week, unless pixel 3 makes good changes. Bored with Note 8. Poor software support .. childish theme, and yes lags. But wait long to change :-(

                2nd Gen Iphone x will be interesting. They are following samsung footsteps on following customer feedback and removing problematic areas in the phones.

                        I wonder how much this new iPhones would cost.. if the iPhone X costs around $1000 then I'm afraid the new iPhone X 2018 version would be so much more expensive, specially that it seems to be shouting LUXURY EXPENSIVE with the gold color.. My god.. I'm not poor but this has got to hurt people's wallet with the insane prices..

                              Just make a iPad mini with GSM voice and SMS. Problem solved.

                              Now you have a phone that is as giant as a iPad mini.. yet have no multitask features, no pip, no split screen.

                              And you held back the normal iPads /iPad mini's innovation.. just to keep your giant iPad Pros and this on a life line..

                              WHY SO HARDHEADED.

                                        I don’t care much about the notch, but no fingerprint scanner is a no-go. They could at least implement a scanner on the back of the phone.
