Another boring copy product from Samsung. Who should buy this product? White and black is anyway boring, probably than a phone for boring people. Look at Nokia and SE what they do on colours.... Samsung is so bad in this....

It really depends on what the price of this is, the build quality, the battery life, and for me...whether it has a standard 3.5mm speaker. Also depends on if it has A2DP, but I believe that's a standard strategy for Samsung now anyway.
Also, this does not mention does it use UIQ or S60, or something custom?
Basically, the Nokia “slider” phones people are comparing this too are higher end and offer more functionality. The 6110 is a GPS phone. The N95 is a flagship product which does everything. The E65 (not mentioned by others) is a powerfull WiFi slider which lacks critical multimedia functions (A2DP, 3.5mm plug). All those Nokia phones cost over $450. The Sony W580…like must a multimedia phone but not a smart phone. Totally different product.
This phone should be compared to Nokia non-slider Smartphones, like the Nokia 5700, the 6290. It is, in essence, a budget-level Smartphone. It has a more serious style than the 5700, but probably around the same features. I’m looking to buy a budget smartphone which I can attach a BT Keyboard too, as well as use to listen to music and use external GPS when I desire to. The Nokia 5700 and 6290 fit my needs. I will consider this Samsung depending on its price, build quality, and availability.

Recent Samsung models ARE able to ring & vibrate at the same time, and anyway, Symbian has always been capable of that...
It's quite a nice phone, very thin but a bit bland. I'm curious about the price...and whether the camera will have AF, the video recording quality, sound quality, etc etc.

Even with it's 6110/W580/N95 resemblance, it was a nice phone. i do hope it becomes nicer with it's built-quality and battery life :)

It's an unusual phone, especially the speaker at the top? I would say it's inconvinient to listen to music loudly and having to slide the speaker out. hmmm...

Samsung seen the N81 coming out by Nokia an this looks identical to it but will not compete with the 8gb memory on the N81 being announce by Nokia on the 29th August so lets wait the full features on the N81 next week
