Even a newly starting company can make a cork phone with 3800mAh battery in 9.25mm thickness. Why sony can only add 3180mAh battery in 11.1mm thick phone? Why sony? why?

Its a stylish back and any eco friendly person would probably pick it up, it has basic function and is sturdy enough to drop on purpose, Its nice that there are other
alternatives for materials when building a phone, and the fact that its eco friendly is already a plus, definitely something that the mobile industry should look into.

The rest of the phone is glass and rare earth minerals. It's not that ecology friendly.
I don't mind a cork back though.
I'd take it over glass any day. A built in phone case.

Love it, well the back. They got the battery and RAM right, but that chipset is a no. Stunning back, I'd take that over a glass back, any day.most innovative rear, of the year.

As good as a "pastel de nata" (traditional portuguese cream cake) and "vinho do Porto" (Oporto wine). Portugal, yes, that small country many times called Spain produce itself half of all the world's cork. Here you can see many things produced in cork and now a phone. Proudly Made in Portugal.

I have seen Cork floors and even They have sustained Many years of usage, so that is not a problem. Real Cork has become quite rare so not sure of that so called ecology aspect.
But it is good insulate, it will reduce the impact in drops, most likely quite good in cold environments. Why not!
There has been real wooden cowers, so not actully anything really new, but the properties of Cork make this quite durable phone! Pity that the hardware seems not to be very battery friendly...

Unless you're doing "label engineering", the art of putting your own label to own it.

Im from Portugal but, no in this world i will buy (someday or somenight) this brand of phone, is just another chinese "made in Portugal" phone, they doing contracts with chinese engineers to came to here to develop this thing, so, is not Portuguese, because Chinese are here making this phones.
