$550?! That is the same price as the original KEYone which is a year old. Plus, there is no CDMA version for the Black Edition. TCL is crazy. They should be more aggressive with pricing. By now they should have lowered the original to $400 and priced this one at $450-500.
Note: I'm not bashing the phone itself. I currently own the original and have been using it for a few months. It's a great phone. I'm just baffled by the pricing and rollout strategy.

No doubt - good handy, but it is not worth the money.... should be cheapper for the specs...

Awesome can't wait!!!. Yes the Blackberry Keyone silver was available at Best Buy only and the Black one with only 3G and not the Special Edition only on line through AT&T. So I went looking for it at Best Buy a couple of times and they were sold out.. So it was out there but it was limited, and once the new Millennial market discovers the accuracy of keyboard it will be a success- I mean do you know how embarrassing is to send texts messages that read " the thong is mine instead of the thing is mine ha ha . Joking a side there is probably a two week adjustment period to get used to the keyboard but then for those that write a lot is a no brainer..Thanks

Hey, remember when the Keyone was being reported on as if it was selling in the millions and I called bunk on it?
850,000 sold is an unmitigated disaster considering this was BB's most popular phone in years. Can the CEO be fired yet? LMAO!

They sold 850,000 devices that weren't even available to buy.
At least not easily available.
Suppose thats not too bad then.
Shouldn't be too hard to sell. A lot of people hate typing on touchscreens and the keyone is the only real option.
Then theres the people that want programmable shortcuts and a universal inbox.

If Blackberry wanted to make their own device, just take the Passport, throw in a 835 and an updated front camera. Keep everything else, and this would be better than the Keyone with bb10 or bb11 software. If this is not an option, just take the above and apply them to the key1. I still like the Passport's keyboard over the Key1 though.

TCL canceled the Blackberry event at MWC to focus on Alcatel.
The unlocked Black Keyone with 4GB of RAM can be considered this year's "upgrade" instead of the Keytwo.
Next year will see the true successor to Keyone. AMOLED display, smaller bezels, OIS camera, etc. And then every two years after that. 850k units (of which 673,000 were Keyone) was not enough to warrant upgrades every year.
TCL will release Palm-branded devices every even year, and BlackBerry every odd year.
Take this for what its worth.

The comment below me sums up my thoughts. This phone is just too expensive for having Snapdragon 625, EMMC and DDR3 RAM. Luckily, there are rumours abound that BlackBerry is planning to use Snapdragon 660 in their next device(s), so that is definitely worth the wait.

Waiting on the KeyOne successor. Throw in a Snapdragon 660 or even last year's 835, tune the camera, use that 18:9 to give people more screen and more keyboard...and you have a winner. Of course, include 6GB RAM
