DxO Mark praises Galaxy S9+ with a score of 99

This scoring dethroned the Google Pixel as the highest-overall-rated smartphone tested by DxO.

          When was first time released SD845 snapdragon it was said its cpu is 10% beter if i remeber exactly from previous model. GPU also a little improvement.
          Apart from that camera aperature have a bit better F1.5 from previos F1/7 on S8 othervise the whole phone is same.
          Same ram same disk space same 3000 mAh battery same screen same all other everything.
          Wake up or learn to read. Phone have nothing worth 1000 eur.
          And compared to S8 which you can have for 500 at the present or S7 which you can get for 300 have nothing worth all the extra bucks.
          Either you are blind to see your you dont see due to all the nonsense you spreading here.

S8 i... moreIt is not a slightly better cpu, the Exynos 9810 is far way better than the Snapdragon 835 and 845 and in relation to the anterior Exynos cpu. The GPU is what can be a slightly improvement in relation to the anterior GPUs of Galaxy S8/S8+. And the Snapdragon 845 has a Gpu which has a performance that makes difference in relation to anteriors GPUs and even to Mali-G72MP18. Is like this, the new Exynos has a cpu vastly superior to previous cpus and the new Snapdragon has a GPU much better than previous GPUS. But it is not all, the camera with variable aperture, stereo speakers, etc, etc.

                The punchy color not always good when the natural color shows the truth to real life scene/object.
                Punchy color just like the MSG in the cooking ingredients, the more MSG doesn't mean come with great taste at the same time.

                  S8 is same like S9 even S7 is same like S9.
                  Everything same apart from a slightly better CPU and GPU and much higher price.

                    People simply jump into total scores given by DxO, without going deeper into it. Just look at the DxO rating charts,for example, in case of Pixel 2 & Galaxy S9 Plus.
                    Google Pixel 2 DxOmark ratings:
                    Exposure & Contrust: 95
                    Color: 86
                    Autofocus: 98
                    Texture: 73
                    Noise: 59
                    Artifacts: 64
                    Flash: 88
                    Zoom: 32
                    Bokeh: 45
                    .............
                    Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus DxOmark ratings:
                    Exposure & Contrust: 91
                    Color: 81
                    Autofocus: 91
                    Texture: 67
                    Noise: 79
                    Artifacts: 62
                    Flash: 86
                    Zoom: 65
                    Bokeh: 50
                    So, S9 Plus won just in two categories, Zoom(much higher than the Pixel 2) & Bokeh.Lost in all other categories.So its total score is more than Pixel 2. So I strongly feel Pixel 2 is the winner here, not the Galaxy S9+. People who rely on the DxOmark ratings should go deeper into the results and not just the total score as its misleading.

This is good if you wish for a shallow depth of field in good light, or good depth of field in low light when the phone is mounted on a tripod.

                            Of course, the Nokia N86, way back in 2009, had a variable aperature, with three f stops, whereas the S9 only has two. It also had a much superior mechanical shutter, which the S9 lacks.

                            As usual, in many ways phone cameras are still playing catch-up to the great Nokia N series phones of a decade ago.
