Android P may introduce stricter call blocking

02 March 2018
The feature would be welcome with open arms as more people complain about robo-callers and telemarketers these days.

Unfortunately, this is just another feature missing from "stock" Android (and there are many).
My Mate 8 had call blocking, as does the Mate 9 (current phone). Even the Honour 6 Plus I owned a few years ago had it.

It's not exactly "revolutionary", but is very useful, for those dreaded telesales calls...

Come on, just introduce ANDROID P as ANDROID :P, with a bunch of trolls when u keep pressing the ANDROID version, isn't this more exciting (Maybe? XD)

                                MIUI also have this feature..

While I welcome this feature because it should have been standard ages ago, just look at the fact that everyone everywhere will try to make money off of anything!!! Freaking leeches!!!

"This could be enabled by the carrier's discretion" just angers me even more because carriers are nothing more than money hungry leeches gathering millions if not billions and not rolling out good service coverage despite the big consumer demand. I hate the fact that everything takes its sweet sweet time always not to the benefit of the consumer only to the big CEO board pockets & bank accounts.

                                      F**k carriers.

Never buy phones from carriers, never succumb to age-long term & condition contracts because they are all designed to trap you and get the most money out of you.

Just buy a phone from a local phone shop or online and just get a pay as you go plan - it's the best decision you can do which will save you headaches in the long run.
