Akinaro, 04 Mar 2018In Europe lots of big electronic markets started selling 58... moreConsidering the written prices, you wont need Xiaomi to enter EU markets as Samsungs/LGs are already selling in nominal prices. But for India, it is different story altogether..
Here, Samsung or LG sells their 50-55" 4K Televisions at 80K-120K INR (relatively equals 1000-1250 Euros) for non-luxurious or non-OLED models. Taken this to account, Xiaomi delivers a product (55" 4K model) for 500 Euro (40K INR) is a sweetener. I know it wont be in same quality as LG's or Samsung's, but achieving 80-85% quality in mere half price is a great feat for them.

P.S: For the whole story, i didnt speak about SONY, because they are even 10-20% higher than LG or Samsung's.

    no hair no fair

I hope Xiaomi will allow pre-purchasing products of future batches with payment in advance, this will help people get their hands on merchandise without having to pay extra to resellers. The problem with this extra is it sometimes gets up to 100% price premium (I know because I imported a number of Xiaomi products a while ago, prices can get rather crazy compared to "MSRP").

For that price im expecting image quality at par with sony or samsung.
              Does it have it?

In Europe lots of big electronic markets started selling 58inch Samsung Smart TV MU6125 for just 650-700 Euro.
Best deal you can get, maybe its not OLED, but it have UHD, HDR and its just fast and nice to use(Tizen on Samsung TV series6 is really good). Really future-proof and with good quality(beside remote, I think only in norway I found offer that give you smart remote.)
You can also get smaller version for just 400-480Euro. So if Xiaomi want to get to real market of EU and US they seriously need something more or better prices.
