AnonD-125829, 06 Mar 2018why no 128gb variant. Disgusting samsung.I'm actually OK with the absence of a 128 GB device on sale in India. If I'm the kind of user who feels 64 GB is not enough, then stepping up to 256 GB is a 4x increase, one that will take care of most people's storage needs.
Last year, when the S8+ variant with 6 GB/128 GB was launched, it was priced at INR 74,990, IIRC (a 10,000 premium over the 4 GB/64 GB variant). On that basis, getting 256 GB for a little cheaper is actually good.

Some relief to note that the prices have been held in the same ballpark as the S8 twins, rather than increasing. Not to say these prices are great, they're pretty steep anyway! :-)
