Huawei must be joking with those prices! I’m better off with Samsung, Sony or Apple with that kind of price. Why should I settle down with Huawei if the price is sky high. Huawei hasn’t grown that great to have prices more than X, S9 and XZ2. With that design like shit I am not paying that much. Period.

Honestly they could've moved the front camera and other sensor on the bottom of the phone otherwise, the chin would be completely useless

Good quality build and sleek designs, dual cameras with Lumia Pro mode, Pixel 2 identical camera sensor, comes with SD card slot, and good updates supports. Nowadays, all the newer flagships are specs races but always lack of s/w supports for the long run.

Nokia is a frequent and fast updater. Just today March security patch release was announced. Not premium price (yet).
OnePlus is also reasonable fast and frequent updater after OP2 and strong 3rd party development?
I think (debatable, of course) Android market side will be divided between shiny-looking branded phones with new features (innovators) and fast-long term supported branded phones.
Huawei falls in the first category, Xiaomi in the middle and Nokia/OP in the second one, just as an example.
Obviously market is much more complex than this, but software support-wise and innovations, this might be a fair assumption.

Copy who? The first smartphone with a notch was the Essential PH1. So Apple still number 1 at copying other companies....

I had p10, p10 plus and then i switched to Iphone. Main reasons are SLOW updates, bug crashes and not so PERFECT camera (quite decent after all). While MATE 9 have Oreo, p10 and plus are still in BETA and probably wont be official till April i assume. Camera is not perfect 10 although is decent and nothing more. SO 900 euros for your product, thanks not gonna happen.
