Android P may allow your phone to work as a Bluetooth keyboard or mouse

The PC modes of Huawei and Samsung already handle the mouse case. This would enable it on all phones.

      With the new DEX Samy can do if it wants a whole lot of stuff in the mobile phone/PC conversion. The DEX can use the phone as a keyboard, now Samy has to allow us somehow to use the Gear VR controller as a mouse and we are all set.

        Sgs3 feature comes back to life. Without any extra app. But with apps, you was able to do that for years already.

          EDIT: It came first on Sidesync 1.0, for Galaxy SIII. It supported keyboard and mouse.

This will be a great feature and it has been a long time since something more meaningful for us came on android. If you don't want the feature, don't use it. I would like to make more use of my phone. Using phone as a keyboard can be especially great for TVs or consoles because they don't come with them. The remote or controller doesn't cut it.
