Also the notch is not having anything the middle of the screen. The notch is half (or 1/3rd) of a bezel. So instead of having a bezel doing nothing, you have anotch for the sensors and the rest is screen.
A bezels is literally the worst of all worlds. Making the screen smaller, and IMO it is ugly as sin. Some people like the look, even then it should not be acceptable. Style should never trump function in tools (like a phone is).

Also didn't say that Xiaomi is not a good company (after all they created Mix 1 which was trully revolutionary for its time).
All I'm saying is that *this* is a bad product that nobody needs.
There is a reason why everyone moved to notches. People hate bezels ... and they went and included the bottom bezel as if it was nothing (oh well it is, and it's ugly).
Corner notch is the best of all worlds (it's a notch but less ugly). I mean renders of Mix 2s showed corner notch. What happened? Why did the ugly bottom bezel makes a return?

If you wanna that, but Apple is to much for you, and only looking at the Chinese oems to buy, hey, look at Asus Zenfone series, or better, look at Huawei P20 series. Xiaomi is different level, because Apple, and others copy Xiaomi "bezelles-idea, and design" from 2016, not from some Sharp 2014 phone..

Rumours said that we were going to get a corner notch. Instead we may get the above travesty because of people like you ... for shame...

Xiaomi is currently ranked 4 in the world ahead of Apple at 5 and is expected to reach 2 by the end of the year. This phone is obviously going to be one of the ones helping it get there. And maybe it'll go even better since the only competition right now is S9 and all it is a ramped up S8.

Design wise it will be just like Mi Mix 2 but with SD845, Wireless Charging enabled and AI Dual Cameras.
